International Oral Surgery Day celebrated at RBDCH

The principal of the dental college, Dr. Akshey Sharma, and Dr. Sandeep Garg, Professor and Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, organized a 3-D model-making competition for the students, which was judged by Rayat Bahra University Vice-Chancellor, Dr Parvinder Singh.

Furthermore, an awareness drive was conducted, which had the doctors and students of the Dental College distribute pamphlets to educate the general public regarding road safety to prevent maxillofacial trauma and to make people aware of the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

More than 1000 people were individually catered to in an attempt to create awareness, and the program was widely appreciated.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions, lauded the initiative of the Rayat Bahra Dental College and Hospital in organizing the awareness campaign, which he hoped would greatly benefit the people in general.
